We heard this crazy rumour that you're busy. Being curious people here at Feast, we dug into this and conducted extensive focus groups and ethnographic research to see how we could apply this insight to our business. After rounds of interviews and concept testing, we found that some people would like to plan their lunch and ‘order’ before we opened for service. Boom, order ahead was born.
Here is a quick summary of some our order ahead features and things you need to know.
So I can Order Ahead?
Yes, Order Ahead is exactly what it sounds like. You don't have to wait for Feast to open for service at 11am to get your order in. You can plan ahead and place your order before our opening time.
It’s only on the web, for now.
You can currently use order ahead functionality on eatfeast.com but we are working on expanding this across the Feast platform to iOS and Android. But for now, it’s the web.
If you want to order ahead, just click the button.
Order ahead is totally simple. You just order like you regularly would and add a menu item to your cart. Just click the button on the bottom right of the menu item that says "Order Ahead".
Select the delivery window you want. Presto, you’re done.
On the checkout screen you pick your delivery window. Now unlike some other services (ahem, looking at you Cable companies), ours are 30 minute windows.
You can Order a day in advance and preview other days.
Ordering opens right after the close of the previous lunch service. If you want to check out the menu ahead, click the top right of the page where it says "Select Date" and you can pick the day you want to see.
You can order more items
There are less restrictions on ordering ahead, so you can put up to 10 items of an individual dish into your cart. This is handy if you need a bunch of meals for a client lunch, offsite or last minute meeting.
